About Brazil numbers
Brazil uses country code +55 and telecommunications is regulated by the Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (ANATEL), which manages numbering, spectrum, and carrier licensing. Brazilian mobile numbers are 11 digits in domestic format — a 2-digit area code followed by a 9-digit subscriber number starting with 9, for example +55 11 9XXXX XXXX for São Paulo. Landlines have 10-digit domestic numbers: area code plus 8-digit subscriber number. Key area codes include São Paulo (11), Rio de Janeiro (21), Brasília (61), Belo Horizonte (31), and Salvador (71).

Will my Brazil bank still send OTP codes?
