About New Zealand numbers
New Zealand uses the country code +64 and its telecommunications sector is regulated by the Commerce Commission alongside the Radio Spectrum Management unit of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE). New Zealand mobile numbers begin with 02 domestically (e.g. 021, 022, 027, 028) — in international format the trunk zero is dropped, giving +64 21, +64 22, +64 27, etc. Landline area codes include Auckland (09), Wellington (04), Christchurch (03), and Hamilton (07); in international format the trunk zero is dropped: Auckland is +64 9.

Will my New Zealand bank still send OTP codes?
